I absolutely loved my recent stay at Apa Villa Thalpe. The suites were incredibly homely and created a wonderful atmosphere. The highlight for me was the meals being served right to my room, allowing me to enjoy the delicious food while sitting outside. The setting of the villa, with beautiful gardens and a pool, made for a truly amazing experience. The staff were excellent, providing excellent service throughout my stay. If you're looking for a place to relax and soak up the sun, I highly recommend this hotel. I had a fantastic time and would definitely go back.

Although there were minor inconveniences, such as the lack of a mini bar and hairdryer, they didn't significantly detract from my overall experience. Additionally, the lack of intercom facilities meant I had to walk and find staff at certain times.

I keep coming back for the fantastic service, beautiful setting, and lovely staff. They once even helped me return my forgotten earphones. The amenities are perfect for me: Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, and access to the beach. Can't wait for my next trip!

We had a wonderful weekend stay at this hotel. The property was beautiful and well-maintained with a friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast options were fantastic, with both a la carte and traditional Sri Lankan options available. The villas were spacious, clean, and serviced daily. The pool was a great centerpiece of the property, perfect for lounging and cooling off. We also enjoyed the convenient location, with easy access to the nearby beach and a short walk or tuk-tuk ride to nearby restaurants and shops.

There were a few aspects that we didn't particularly like. the hotel's appearance was not accurately reflected in the photos advertised.

I had an incredible stay surrounded by nature at this stunning villa. The breathtaking views over the ocean and the beautiful swimming pool were just mesmerizing. The spacious suites were finished to the highest standard, and the comfortable beds with mosquito nets provided a peaceful sleep. The service was impeccable, with attentive staff always available. The food prepared by the chef was absolutely delicious, especially the seafood buffet. The villa had a well-equipped library and games for the children to enjoy.

I loved lounging by the infinity pool with stunning views of the Indian Ocean. The Cardamon and Saffron suites are absolutely spacious and luxurious. The en suite bathrooms and walk-in dressing areas make you feel like a celebrity. Plus, having a private verandah overlooking the garden and sea is just perfect. The bedrooms are cozy and the master bathroom is conveniently connected to the garden, living room, and pool. It's so nice to have easy access to all these areas for a seamless holiday experience.

Personally, I would have preferred a different shower setup in the bathroom. But hey, it's just my preference and others might find it enjoyable.
